Global Mobile Alert TM 

Global Mobile Alert (GMA) is a location-based services platform that alerts drivers when approaching signaled intersections, school zones or railroad tracks.

The application is available for license now and can be implemented on mobile phones, navigation systems and in-vehicle telematics systems.

The GMA solution provides audible alerts when a moving vehicle approaches an intersection (or other geo-coded area) too rapidly. When a GMA-enabled vehicle is approaching one of these areas an alert is sounded if the vehicle is moving faster than a predetermined speed. For automotive OEMs and suppliers of GPS-enabled mobile devices, the GMA solution may help reduce the effects of driver distraction in vehicles enabled with navigation and embedded telematics equipment.
